Spring Trash Pick Up Days – May 12 and 13

WILL TAKE:
Appliances: Stoves, Washers, Dryers, Water heaters, Water Softeners, Microwaves, Freezers and Refrigerators (compressors must be removed).
Furniture: Couches, Chairs, Tables, Mattresses, Bed Frames, Dressers
Carpet: Carpet and padding must be cut up in pieces of 4-5 feet, rolled and tied up. Items over 6 feet in length must be cut down.
All items must be bagged, bound, or tied for easy handling.
WILL NOT TAKE:
- Construction materials, including – shingles, wood, doors, windows, siding, bricks, cement, etc.
- Organic material, including – Rocks, grass, branches, tree trunks, leaves burn barrels, ashes, etc.
- Hazardous Material, including – paint, oil, gas, medical waste, medications, liquids of any type, tires, car parts, bumpers, seats, etc.
- Electronics – TVs, computers, stereos, entertainment centers
*** Electronics can be dropped off at the Carroll County Transfer Station or Best Buy Stores ***

Downtown Flora Through the Years
Miriam Robeson / 0 Comments /Check out the Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project – Take a walk downtown to see how today’s buildings looked throughout Flora’s History. Panels with photographs and descriptions are now on display on buildings in Downtown Flora.

Annual Hydrant Flushing Begins March 21

Residents might notice minor discoloration in their water. Let the water run and it should clear up.
